This Sunday, November 4th we will be having the 'Last Chance Qualifier' for this January's West Coast Challenge in Long Beach.  Registration will begin at 12 noon at Penthouse Billiards with play starting at 1pm SHARP!!  There is NO LATE REGISTRATION and you must be present toregister.

This tournament is open to any Los Angeles Pool League player on a team roster, that has not previously played (with the exception of the 'Lo' in 'Hi-Lo') at a past West Coast Challenge event.  You must also have played 55% of games available this past Fall 2013 season.

The winner of the “Last Chance Qualifier” will be our Open Individual Eighth Place Player. If the winner of the “Last Chance Qualifier” is unable to attend the WCC, then the spot will be given to the 8th Place finisher at our Open Individuals Tournament.

Also, any player wanting to qualify for the West Coast Challenge stipend must have attended and paid $10 at a minimum of 3 fundraiser's or pay $30 or $10 for every fundraiser short of the 3 required before the start of the 'Last Chance Qualifier'.  Failure to pre-pay the $10-$30 or have 3 fundraiser's already credited to your name will make that player ineligible for any WCC stipend.

The LAPL is now selling raffle tickets for an iPad mini.  Help support your/our League.  Drawing to be held on December 17th at the Fall 2013 Awards Ceremony (winner not need to be present).  Ticket donations are $10 each and only a maximum of 200 tickets will be sold!

We encourage each team to sell ten (10) tickets if they can.  Members interested in selling tickets please contact Julian Auzenne and he will distribute them to you as long as they are available.

Congratulations to Oxwood #21 for finishing the regular season on top of the standings.  The top table run team this season was Oxwood #11 with 14 runs.  The top player in division 1 was Taka Fujiwara at .808 and the top player in division 2 was Cliff Giles, Jr. at .773.  Good luck in the playoffs.
