Greetings to all,

Early Saturday morning, 22 adventurous League members made the trip out to Reseda to take part in our Hi-Lo West Coast Challenge qualifier at Paladino’s.  Thank you to Paladino’s and Nicki for opening up soooo early for us.  Also, thank you to the other Board members that helped out with the brackets which kept the day running smooth right up to the final match which ended as the Pink Floyd tribute band began to wail.

There were so many strong players teamed up that it was hard to pick just 1 or 2 favorites.  Some of the teams competing for an invitation to this January’s West Coast Challenge in Long Beach were; Bri Lo/Jefferson, Saeromi/Lori Perry, Ray Ray/Matt R., Julian/Marty B., Schesary/Kerri, Darren K./Mike H. and Jon B/Tod D., among others.

Congratulations to our top 4 teams:

4th Place- Ray Brewer & Matt Reilly
3rd Place- Darren Kendrick & Mike Harris
2nd Place- Schesary Berrios & Kerri Frasca

and 1st Place, representing Los Angeles at January’s WCC;

Julian Auzenne & Marty Brennan

Don’t forget Open Individuals and our Women’s qualifier on Saturday December 14th.  Check the web site for times and locations.
