Dear League Members,

 

BOG Meeting: The BOG met on Sunday, January 16 beginning at 12:15. Discussed was the upcoming Spring Season, WCC and Members Meeting/Awards Party scheduled for Feb 8. Full minutes will be placed on the LAPL website when completed.

 

Member's Meeting and Awards Party: Tuesday, February 8 @ 7 p.m. at Jerry's Billiards. We will be having our regular member's meeting beginning at 7 p.m. with our usual business matters related to next season. We will also be recognizing our past season's winners with trophies and recognitions. Food and two free drink tickets will be given to all league members that join us.

 

Attention Captains and Members: The first night of play for our Spring Season will be February 15. Please contact Steve Duckman or a board member if you are wishing to put a team together. If you need players for your team, reach out to a member of the BOG. There are a number of new interested players that would like to join a team.

 

West Coast Challenge: There will be a West Coast Challenge at the end of this season hosted by the San Francisco Pool League on August 12-14. The LAPL will be sending our season's winners to this tournament and we will cover the travel and lodging expenses for our delegation.

 

BCA Nationals: Will be held March 23 to April 2 in Las Vegas at the Rio Hotel. If you played at least four nights last season with the LAPL, you are sanctioned to participate in this tournament.
