Week Six

Next Tournament:  Please join us at the Eagle this Sunday, March 13 for our next fundraiser and Mini Tournament, Get Your Green which is a MONEY Tournament.  Join Us & "get your green" in time for St. Patty's Day.  Half of the $20 entry fee will go into the "Pot of Gold" & be paid out to the Top 3 spots.  Sign up starts at 12:30 with play beginning at 1:00 p.m.
 
WCC Hosted by LA Pool League:  As you may know, West Coast Challenge 73 will be held July 8, 9, and 10 at La Quinta LAX and hosted by Los Angeles.  Last Call for LOGO Ideas:  If you have a logo idea for WCC 73, please send that here to this address.  We will use this logo for the program book and T-Shirts as well as branding the WCC LA on our Facebook and website.  Volunteers:  If you wish to help with the weekend festivities, please let us know.  Also, we are taking nominations for 2 inductees to the Hall of Fame of the West Coast Challenge.  If you have nominations, please submit those to the board.  
 
Nominations for the Board of Governors:  There are currently four open seats for the Board of Governors as the terms for Cliff Giles, Jr.,  Saeromi Kim, Matt Reilly and Timmie Winebrenner are ending next season.  If you are interested in submitting your name for consideration, please write your name on the score sheet or email us here at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..  You will need to write your name on the scoresheet by the end of Week 8 of play.  Currently, Cliff Giles, Jr. has nominated himself.  
 
BOG Meeting:  We will have a board meeting on March 13 prior to the tournament at the Eagle.  We will be discussing WCC and logistics in general. The meeting will be held in Silver Lake near the Eagle from 10 am to 12 noon. We will meet in front of the Eagle at 10 a.m. and then either go to the Good Microbrew and Grill located at 3725 Sunset Blvd., or the House of Pies, located at 1869 N. Vermont Avenue.  Both are in close proximity to the Eagle.
