Lucky Draw Recap
On Sunday, August 29th at Jerry's Family Billiards the Los Angeles Pool League held our Lucky Draw tournament 'fun'draiser. A total of 17 people showed up and 8 teams competed for the top 3 honors.
Third Place was won by Karyn, the Captain of Jerry's #2 team and her Lucky Draw partner Jose, from Jerry's Stroke of Genius team.
Second Place was won by Ben from Jerry's #2 team and his Lucky Draw partner Arnell, from Jerry's Stroke of Genius team.
First Place was won by our King of the Hill team, Brendan from Jerry's Rack'em Up #2 team and his Lucky Draw partner Al, the Captain of Jerry's Stroke of Genius team.
A special thank you to Jerry's for hosting our tournament and Marvin, Ray and Gerard for supporting our League by playing in our tournament while participating in the 9 Ball money tournament being held simultaneously with our 'fun'draiser.
Our next tournament 'fun'draiser is Pick a Partner at Jerry's on Sunday, September 26th. 12 noon registration and 1pm tournament start time. This is a Scotch Doubles, double elimination, 8 Ball tournament where you bring your own playing partner or team up with somebody at the tournament. $15/player.
I hope to see more of you there this coming weekend. Captains, you will receive a reminder Tuesday night to let your players know about it.
